Who We Are
FasTrak Network is a small privately owned Corporation staffed with engineers, scientists and technicians that use new and proven technology to design mechanical system components, test and inspect prototype and production parts, analyze data and improve processes. We are graduates of prestigious institutions such as Rochester Institute of Technology, State University of New York and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Located in Upstate New York State since 1989 we serve the continental Unites States. We have over 17 years of experience in product and process design, assessment and improvement.
FasTrak Network Corporation offers reasonable engineering, inspection and testing rates with flexible contract options. FasTrak Network Corporation's Dunn and Bradstreet number is 156294493. Check out our credentials under our credibility.
What We Do
Our primary expertise is in injection molded plastic component design, testing and inspection, mostly in pharmaceutical packaging and dispensing systems. These capabilities are augmented with our NIST traceable testing and metrology laboratory, automated data collection, prototype and fixture fabrication and statistical data analysis. By coupling these capabilities with website deliverable distribution, FasTrak Network Corporation offers one of the fastest mechanisms of delivering models, prints, test data, reports and analyses offered by anyone. These capabilities, elaborated below, have been developed in concert with comprehensive statistical data analysis techniques.
Product Design - We use Ideas by EDS for true 3D geometry modeling and print development for our customerís products, test fixtures and custom bench-top gages.
Prototyping - Our CNC machine shop is specifically configured for small lot custom machining on close tolerance designs.
Product Inspection - Our calibrated and NIST traceable metrology inventory boasts of four OGP Smartscopestm, a Zeiss Conturatm CMM, and a host of other measurement instruments. In product testing and inspection, all data is automatically and electronically captured for efficiency and accuracy. In all cases, captured data is analyzed for potential outliers and thoroughly analyzed to suite the customerís interests.
Testing - Our NIST traceable testing laboratory is filled with spectrophotometers, color measurement instruments, light chambers, ovens, test chambers, load cells, torque cells, leak test equipment, test stands, weighing scales, and motion control systems. Coupled with our in-house machine shop and design capability, we can design and fabricate just about any necessary fixture and be using it by the time most test houses get the print signed off.
Validation - Our involvement in validation starts with consideration of the validation risk and leads to IQ, OQ and PQ program management. In all cases, protocols can be developed for sample size determination, product testing, dimensional inspection and acceptance.
Project Management - FasTrak network is uniquely qualified for project management due to our extensive experience and diverse technical capability, all in concert with the benefit of being an unbiased third party project administrator.
Bench-top Gaging - As a direct result of product performance testing and intimate understanding of product geometry, functionality and proper gaging techniques, we are well suited for the design and fabrication of in-process and bench-top gaging systems. With our in-house design and fabrication capability we are usually the most cost effective.
